As a result, much of this research is centred around the U.S. and European operations and operators. The<strong> strongest cross-cultural differences<\/strong>\u00a0were found in the areas of command \u00a0and<strong> flexibility<\/strong> <strong>with regard to<\/strong> rules and routines. Pilots from \u201cAnglo\u201d countries (the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and Britain including the pilots who were born in the latter and then worked in Hong Kong) held very similar views, while among the non-Anglo countries, the more hierarchical command styles were observed<strong> in reference to<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>hierarchy<\/strong>\u00a0(Brazil), <strong>rules<\/strong> (Taiwan), and<strong> relationships<\/strong> (Philippines).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>complex &#8211; <em>skomplikowany<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>relevant &#8211; <em>istotny<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>unable\/ unwilling to express opinion &#8211; <em>niezdolny do &#8230;\/ niech\u0119tnie wyra\u017caj\u0105cy opini\u0119<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>information related to crucial aspects of flight &#8211; <em>informacja odnosz\u0105ca si\u0119 do najistotniejszych aspekt\u00f3w lotu<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For example, Boeing and Airbus design modern, <strong>complex<\/strong> airplanes to be flown by two equals. That works beautifully in<b>\u00a0<\/b>communities\u00a0like the \u00a0U.S. where hierarchies aren\u2019t as<strong> relevant<\/strong>.
